I will dominate 'serious fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers participated in the traditional stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
